80 Description:
Provides team leadership with such duties as selecting and allocating employees to various work teams, assigning work, training, maintaining standards and acting on employee problems Maintains compliance with the City's safety program pertaining to job and crew Provides guidance and assistance to the Lead Maintenance Worker and all members of the work crew Leads the Maintenance Team Leader(s) and other employees in maintaining recreational fields, basketball courts, tennis courts and racquetball courts and other recreational and city facilities to ensure the cleanliness, safety and sanitary conditions of the public facilities Maintains and provides leadership of team(s) to manage and maintain the appearance and landscaping in City medians, parks, playing fields and around City Hall complex May be required to performs general construction, plumbing, electrical installations and repairs to buildings, boxes, switches, etc.
May be required to return to work to assist with emergency management preparation, response and/or recovery activities Foster positive employee relations and employee morale on a City-wide basis Performs other related work as required Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma required 5-7 years of experience in parks and facilities maintenance and construction Valid Florida driver's license required Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities Applications may be obtained from the Human Resources Department, or from our web site www.
