Logistics Administrator JOB OVERVIEW The Logistics administrator is a supporting role to the Logistics Coordinator.
The Logistics Administrator is responsible for helping prepare the weekly delivery schedule, creating all necessary paperwork for both loading teams, receive completed bills of lading and final ship boats, enter information and complete the rack report, host daily priority ship meetings and tie out with the logistics coordinator on delays or changes that impact the weekly delivery schedule.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate dealer closings and maintain the report Supplies ordering as needed Answering emails with carriers and dealers Reconciling rack report and finished goods at end of month Monitor and help maintain priority ship list Monitor credit approvals Other related duties as needed Coordinate with finance on boat invoicing QUALIFICATIONS Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
College level coursework preferred 3-5 years experience in a professional office environment or equivalent Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
) Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work over time as needed to complete end of month activities A positive, can-do attitude Teamwork and collaboration-oriented Professional poise and presence Personal accountability/ownership mentality Good judgment, respect for others, and integrity WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
